First day of school

My son had his first day of school yesterday. It was the moment when you realised that he grew up so much in such a little time. He was brave and he loves school. I was worried that he might have some anxiety of us leaving him there, but he managed it so well and adapting so quick. I tried it before when he was 2 in Hanoi. It was really bad and he felt betrayed of me leaving him there. The next day, he didn’t want to go to school at all. After the incident, I thought he might be traumatised from the experience. It seems like when he grow older and learned that there are more funs and more socialising with other kids, he is willing to venture more out from his comfort zone.

With more free time, my husband and I were struggling a little of how to use this opportunity to do something we like. Firstly, we have a lot of things in mind but don’t know where to start. Anyhow, I try little by little to improve my drawing skill digitally and figuring a way to improve my effeciency on making more product. I started to sketch again and it helps to bring back my spark to pick up more drawing. I hope this spark will continue even though the sales do not reflect how I felt about my art. I bought some new material to work with and it is call Jesmonite. It has been in the market for a while now, and recently I read some article about it saying this material is non toxic and quite eco friendly. So I decided to give it a try. Here is my first attempt. Will experiment it more to see how I would like to go with this material.

Here are some of the photos we took during our little hikes before New Year. Love here more and more because of the nature and places to hike. The content is a little out of topic from the title, pfft, don’t care cause I’m writing here just to remind me of the little things I did. Love and hugs to those who is reading my blog. Take care and have a Happy New Year!
