English Through Drawing — Registration, Payment & Attendance Rules
Registration
Registration is for the full 10-lesson course. A child’s place is confirmed once the first payment has been received. Places are limited because the groups are small.
Course fee: €120 for 10 lessons
Parents can choose either:
€120 in full before Lesson 1, or
€60 before Lesson 1 + €60 before Lesson 5
The €60 + €60 option is only an instalment plan for the same 10-lesson course. It is not two separate 5-lesson courses.
Cancellation before the course starts
If the course is cancelled 7 days or more before Lesson 1, any payment already made will be refunded in full. If cancellation is made less than 7 days before Lesson 1, the payment will only be refunded if the child’s place can be filled by another participant.
Cancellation after the course starts
Once Lesson 1 has started, the participant is committed to the full 10-lesson course. The full €120 course fee is non-refundable and remains payable, regardless of whether the parent paid in full or chose the instalment option.
Second instalment
The second €60 must be received before Lesson 5. A reminder will be sent before the payment deadline. If the second payment has not been received, the child’s participation will be paused from Lesson 5 onward until the outstanding balance is paid.
Missed lessons
If a child misses a lesson, the lesson is not refunded and cannot be deducted from the course price. If there is space in another suitable group, a make-up lesson may be offered, but this is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
Illness
Please do not bring your child to the workshop if they are unwell. A lesson missed because of illness follows the same missed-lesson policy above.
Minimum enrolment
Courses require a minimum number of participants to run. If Paper Stories needs to cancel a course because the minimum enrolment has not been reached, all payments for that course will be refunded in full.
If Paper Stories cancels a lesson
A replacement lesson will be arranged. If a replacement cannot be provided, the affected lesson will be credited or refunded.
Changes to the schedule or venue
If a lesson time, date or venue needs to change, parents will be informed as early as possible.
Arrival & collection
Please bring and collect your child on time so that the workshop can begin and finish smoothly. Parents or guardians should provide a phone number where they can be reached during the workshop in case of an emergency.
Safety & behaviour
Children are expected to follow reasonable instructions so that everyone can take part safely and comfortably. If a child’s behaviour makes it unsafe or seriously disrupts the session, the parent or guardian may be contacted and asked to collect the child early.
Changing participants
A registered place cannot be transferred to another child without prior agreement from Paper Stories.
