Settling down

Sorry that I have been MIA for a while. Said before we bought a house and finally we are officially moving in! We moved in on the 3rd December 2021 and have to write it down here to remind myself the date.
So busy with the buying and moving in. At first glanced we thought we don’t have much stuffs to bring it over and we don’t need to buy much, but all these are wrong predictions! Slowly and steadily, we start with my son’s room first. We bought him a bed and some cabinets for storing his clothes and his toys. Here is the results.

Not so bad and finally my son can sleeps in his own bedroom. So far he is loving it and he felt more and more like home.

Next will be the kitchen and bathroom. Although most of the big gadget for the kitchen like fridge, oven, stove and dishwasher are all ready available, we still need to do the cleaning part. Just fridge and oven took us the whole day to keep it looks like a brand new one!

Then buying all the kitchenwares. It supposed to be easy just by browsing online in ikea store and see what we want. But when you moved in the time when Christmas is near, everything was sold out and not available to deliver. It was nightmare trying to buy so many stuffs from ikea and no delivery since we need a couch for our living room. Well, in the end my husband found a van rental company that is available during the pick up date. How lucky we were. Here is how the couch looks like.
