Moving to Slovakia
Starting my journey in the land where I have zero knowledge in their language. Moved from Hanoi, Vietnam and to say how my experienced in Hanoi was a very pleasant one despite their air. Met some new friends who are very helpful from the first day till the last day of our stay. I would love to say my thanks again here and I love Vietnam a lot.
Coming back to the topic of my moving to Slovakia. Decided to write a blog about my experience and to explain how I felt about it. First of all, why Slovakia? To answer that, my husband is a Slovakian and my son basically is half Slovakian now. Our first day was very pleasant, the sky was so blue and temperature was at its best around 18-21 degree. We had a chauffeur prepared to pick us up in Vienna airport and every thing was according to plan.
We need to quarantine ourselves for 8 days on our arrival date and after the 8 days we need to get our PCR test. The results came out negative for us and we were so glad that we can drive around and check out the town again.
Overall, every thing seems so smoothly progressed but slowly I realised that more things came into my mind that wasn’t as soomthly as I thought. My husband was pretty organised on getting my visa and my insurance but some of the paperwork from Malaysia has to be on hold because of the MCO lockdown. Then, I’ve ordered a printed photobook from MILK website and it got delayed by the custom due to the amount value that need to be taxed. Seriously, I was a little bit frustrated when a nice printed book for personal used has to be taxed! Anyway, this is the downside of living in Europe, where most of the stuffs ordered from overseas like Asia or America has to be taxed!
What is my next move with my arts? I have a few things in mind that I wanted to do and one of them is air dried clay. Had some fun ordering art stuffs locally here with my husband help to translate and getting ready preparing some design to test on the market here. Will post some sneek peak to showcase how it looks like.
